There is virtue in avoiding irrelevant and meaningless discussions
The believer should avoid speaking on the basis of speculation or speaking of that of which he has no knowledge, because this is what it means to be truthful and honest
Anyone beating the drums of war needs to read this message
If any Muslim state initiates military action against the state of Is**l, this will most likely lead to World W*r III, use of nuclear weapons, deaths of 100s of millions of innocent civilians, possible at**ck on Makkah, Madina, Al Aqsa and beyond
We are lucky that this decision is not in the scope of the ordinary Muslim. These matters can be discussed either by the Muslim Leaders in positions of authority or by the Fuqaha (scholars of Jurisprudence)
If our leaders make the decision for military action, the general rule is to obey the leaders as long as they don’t encourage disobedience to Allah (Muslim 1855a Muslim 1847b), so we will have to accept this decision and have Sabr. There is no benefit in discussing this amongst ourselves and making any emotional statements
This does not lift the responsibility to do our part which could be making Dua, doing Boycotts, raising awareness, attending peaceful protests, giving charity, etc. See more ideas here on How to Help Palestine
No one will enter Paradise because of their good deeds alone (Muslim 2818a), does this mean we stop doing good deeds?
May Allah give us the clarity and wisdom to act as rational believers and play our part properly in pleasing Allah 🤲
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “O people, do not desire to meet the enemy, but rather ask Allah for safety. If you meet your enemy in battle, be patient and know that Paradise is under the shade of swords.” Then, the Prophet (ﷺ) said, “O Allah, the Revealer of the Book, the Mover of the clouds, the Defeater of the confederates! Defeat the unbelievers and grant us victory.”
Bukhari 3024 Muslim 1742a
