Taqwa of Rabb & Family. All Humans One Family & Equals
- Allah created everyone from Adam عليه السلام and we are all one global family of Adam
- All races are coming from same parents and are all equal. Prophet ﷺ said all of you are from Adam and Adam came from dust. No superiority of Arab or non Arab black or white except for Taqwa.
- Be conscious of Allah and of relatives (Arham)
Family Law, Marriage, Divorce
- Concept of Mahr man gives to woman. This was new for arabs. Aya 4. This should be done with a free spirit, graciously and smiling.
- Never take back Mahr even if you divorce. Aya 20, 21.
- Polygamy was made stricter. Aya 129-130.
- List of Mahrams (Aya 22-24).

- Righteous women obey Allah and guard their chastity.
- If you fear women are rebellious (fear unfaithfulness). First advice, then seperate beds, and then discipline them. Need more research and understanding on this topic.
- Our mother Aisha رضي الله عنها said Our Prophet ﷺ never once lifted his hand against a servant or a lady.
- Ladies complaint after this Aya and Prophet ﷺ condemned men who are doing this
- Prophet ﷺ said best of you are best to their wives.
- Scholar says if step three is necessary it’s better to get the state involved or part ways even though Allāh has allowed step three.
- This Aya in Quran is only for very extreme circumstances and must be done very gently. You may dislike something and Allāh makes therein much good.
- Aya 19 also says to live with women and treat them in the best way.
Solving Marital Problems
- Aya 128 reconciliation is best and both parties should try.

- Parents should teach children the value of money. Even if you are a millionaire.
- Aya 6 Test the orphan to see if they can manage money and then handover.
- Whoever consumes property of orphan they eat the fire of hell. It is a major sin.
Laws of Inheritance Aya 7-12 and 176
- Details and Precision of inheritance are a miracle. For an unlettered Prophet ﷺ this is truly miracle.
- Aya 11 Allāh says parents and children how will you decide how much to leave whom? Allah says I take care of this decision for you.
- Allah knows and is all wise.
- Aya 32 we are told not to challenge the rules set by Allah. Everyone has a share and do not be greedy or jealous about it.
- For the arabs this was shocking because women did not inherit anything.
- Women themselves were inherited as property and this was banned by Allah. Aya 19.
- Women get 1/2 share of the men. Some Sahaba inquired about the wisdom behind this because women did not get anything in the past. Cultures change but Quran laws are eternal. We should challenge our cultures and customs instead of challenging the Quran
Obedience of Allah & His Messenger ﷺ
- Believer resorts to Quran and Sunnah. Aya 64 Allāh says prophets are meant to be obeyed. Aya 65 importance of obeying the Prophet ﷺ and how he should be judge for all matters and feel no resentment and submit wholeheartedly.
- Aya 69 people who obey Allah and messenger ﷺ and the ones who are rightly guided (like from Fatiha)
- Aya 80 whoever obeys messenger ﷺ obeys Allāh
Qadr & Hypocrites
- Aya 78 and 79. Hypocrites when something good happens they thank Allāh but when something bad happens they blame others.
- Everything happens by will of Allah.
- Whatever good happens is from Allāh. Whatever bad happens is from your own sins.
- This is belief in Qadr. Allah controls everything and predestined everything. We never ascribe evil to Allah. All evil comes because of evil from us. The calamity is because of our sins but it is not a punishment and because of these calamities Allah forgives your sins.
- How we respond to calamity dictates success or failure. If we respond by going back to Allāh it is a blessing, if we respond by going away from Allāh it is a punishment.
When Prophet ﷺ heard and cried (Aya 41)
- Ibn Masud رضي الله عنه recited Aya 41 and Prophet ﷺ cried when it is mentioned that he will be brought as witness on the day of judgement.

- No one is perfect. Best thing to do is acknowledge mistakes and do tauba.
- Aya 16 if both repent after adultery leave them Allāh is merciful
- Aya 18 repentance is always acceptable by Allah for those who did it out of heedlessness. But do not make a mockery of repentance by continuing to commit and only after seeing angel of death repent.
- Repentance should be followed by a good deed.
- Aya 110 whoever wrongs himself and ask Allāh for forgiveness he shall find Allāh merciful.
- Aya 112 whoever does a sin and then blames an innocent person or take their Haq that is a clear sin. Private sins are forgiven directly by Allah. Sins against people is larger and will need compensation on day of judgement.

- Aya 82. Why don’t they ponder over the message of the Quran. Had it been from any besides Allāh they would have found much contradiction.
- Any other book is not like this. It smoothly flows from story to story topic to topic and perspective to perspective and still makes complete sense and is complete in its guidance.
- Speech of Allah is unlike anything else in the world
