Criticism on Christian Theology
- Isa never claimed divinity and was human. (Aya 72) Isa himself ordered monotheism.
- The bible even today does not have any statement from Isa about trinity, his own divinity or shirq.
- Aya 17 those who say Isa is god have disbelieved. Who can prevent Allah from destroying Isa his mother and everything in the earth.
- Aya 75 Isa and his mother used to eat
- Aya 73 nullifies trinity. There is only one God.
- Aya 77 to Ahl e Kitab don’t go beyond the truth in religion and do no follow false ideas of people before you who themselves were astray. Christian doctrine doesn’t come from Isa and was developed by groups who were astray. This knowledge wasn’t available to arabs or our Prophet ﷺ. Itself this is a miracle. Paul claimed Isa died for sins, this was not true. Church fathers in 325 created trinity by whims is people who were misguided.
- Bartehrman has written books on how Christianity does not go back to Isa. “How Jesus became God” book.
- Aya 74. Why don’t they repent to Allah. Allah is forgiving.
Story of Table Spread and Disciples
- Actual disciples of Isa are praised in Quran. They never innovated
- They asked for food and Allāh gave them a table of food. After having this table Allāh said you can never leave Islam now.
- With blessings come responsibility.
- Isa on day of Judgement
- Aya 116-119 Allāh will ask Isa on judgement day if he asked people to worship him and he will deny. Allah will make judgement between righteous and evil. Sincere Christians who stayed on True guidance of Isa and never heard of Islam will have hope of salvation.
- To Allah belongs the kingdom of all in heavens and earth. Allah has power over everything.
